DJ: Today Duke Tookit, the man
accused of stealing Sun Resting On Hill, wrote a poem for the Ugly
Art Only Museum and sent it to our station. We’d like to share it with
you:
U is for the Ugly Art you
show
G is for the gruesome things you know
L is for my laughter
Y is for you’re never going to find it
A is for all the mistakes
you’ve made
R is for the rude people you employ
T is for the tremendous trouble you've caused
DJ: We’re not sure
what the poem means.
Ring, ring.
DJ: Perhaps
this caller has an interpretation of the poem. Hello caller, you’re on
the air.
Caller: Yes, I think Duke is feeling very lost and alone. You can
hear him crying out through the lines of his poem. As an acrostic, it even
spells “Help Me, Please.”
DJ: Actually, caller it spells "Ugly Art."
Caller: Oh. That must have been my own poem. Can you help me?
DJ: Whoops, looks like we just lost our caller.

Nevermoved’s Statement Released
By
Juanna Byline
Today in a sworn statement, Will Nevermoved denied having anything to do
with the recent theft of Sun Resting On Hill. There were allegations
that, as the security guard, he really ought to have stopped the thief,
since he apparently had the chance. His wife says Nevermind has a bad back
and was afraid of getting injured if he chased after the suspect. These
claims are being investigated.

Bud: This just in. Duke Tookit has sent a list of demands to the Ugly
Museum.
Voice from Offstage: Bud, that’s Ugly Art Only Museum.
Bud: I don’t know—have you been there? It’s a pretty ugly
place. But back to our story, here are Duke Tookit’s demands:
Bud:
Hey Sally, do you think I have a chance at solving this mystery? It
says the museum is offering a reward. |
