The Very Private Journal of Duke Tookit

(Don't forget, you may need your code breaking kit.)

Entry One-Entry Two-Entry Three

Entry One
Got another of those letters back from the Ugly Art Only Museum today. It said, “Dear Mr. Tookit: While we understand your desire to see kitten exhibits in the museum, please understand that kittens are not ugly. Therefore, there will never be a kitten exhibit at the Ugly Art ONLY Museum. Thank you for your feedback and should you conquer that arachnophobia, by all means, visit us again. Most Sincerely, Frankie Feet"

Can you believe their nerve? And to think Vinnie Van Gone-uhk was a famous kitten lover. If they’d just get rid of that “Sun Resting On Hill”--not one of his better works, if you ask me--they’d be able to put in all kinds of kittens. Perhaps they’d be more willing to listen to me if I had a bargaining chip... That’s what I need. I’ll snag “Sun Resting On Hill” and give it a full-on nap.

Entry Two
There’s something wrong with this silly painting. It wouldn’t play nice with the little kids. They wanted to play in the sandbox. He wanted to hang on the wall. They wanted to swing. He wanted to hang on the wall. They got out their cots at nap time, he wanted to hang on the wall. And to think I thought a nursery school was the perfect place for this picture. Now where can I put it?

Entry Three
The picture should be resting comfortably now. It seemed to really enjoy pushing the daisies around. Always did seem like a bossy painting to me.
