Did anything unusual occur
the day before the crime? That would have been the 28th.
Dough: Dad acted weird everyday, but on the 28th, he went to the hardware
store to buy some tarps. That seemed weird because I hadn’t heard
anything about rain, but I didn't think he wanted to steal art with them.
Interviewer: Do you know where he might have hidden the painting?
Dough: No, but he’s always liked merry-go-rounds. I think he likes plastic
animals. Thinks they’re cute, I guess.
Interviewer: Have you seen your father since the theft?
Dough: No. She starts to cry loudly. Daddy, please come home.
Interviewer: Can you--
Interviewer's
voice is drowned out by the sound of Dough's crying.

Interviewer: Do you know a Duke Tookit?
Bart: I ain’t sayin’ nutin’ without my lawyer.
Three hours later Bart Badguy’s lawyer arrives
Interviewer: Do you know a Duke Tookit?
Lawyer: My client will not answer the question on the grounds that it may
incriminate him.
Interviewer: Have you ever been to the Ugly Art Only Museum?
Lawyer: My client will not answer the question on the grounds that it may
incriminate him.
Interviewer: Is there anything you’re willing to tell me regarding the
theft--
Lawyer: Alleged theft, please
Interviewer: Fine, alleged theft of Sun Resting on Hill?
Bart: Lemme think about it.
Interviewer: Take all the time—
Bart: Nope. Ain’t nutin’ I’ll tell ya.

Interviewer: Please state your name for the record
Will: Will Nevermoved.
Interviewer: Sir, please wait until I start asking questions to make
accusations. Now, please state your name for the record.
Will: Will Nevermoved
Interviewer: Sir, I understand your friend Will never moved. I’m sorry
about that. Now please, state your name for the record.
Will: Will Nevermoved
Interviewer: Sir. Do you not understand what I’m saying? Okay,
I’ll rephrase the
question. Can you tell me your first name?
Will: Will
Interviewer: And your last name?
Will: Nevermoved.
